About Fly Fishing
No, we provide all the necessary equipment for your fly fishing trip. Our guides come fully equipped with everything you’ll need, from rods and reels to flies and tippet. However, if you have a favorite rod and reel, feel free to bring it along.
Be sure to bring polarized sunglasses, a rain jacket, and warm underlayers like a fleece or puffy jacket. From March to June, we recommend bringing waders for warmth, although we won’t be wading much. For colder days, knee-high insulated boots and rain bibs are ideal for adjusting layers. Our guides will have extra rain gear available if needed.

Our fishing season runs from March through October, and each month offers a unique experience. From early-season hatches in spring to prime summer fishing and late fall mayflies, there are plenty of opportunities for great fishing throughout the season.
Unfortunately, no. Almost all of our rivers are easier to access by boat. We strongly encourage interested wade anglers to spend a day fishing out of a boat. You can access miles of different fishing spots rather than just a few.
We only provide float trips for two anglers. Drift boats and rafts are not designed for three people, and it makes for an uncomfortable day for the third person. It also presents a safety hazard we aren’t willing to expose clients to.
